How the desk works
This version
The desk is named tridx. Swaps quote official Uniswap v2, v3, and v4 pools, including a custom fee and a hop through USDG or WETH, and take the route that returns more. Perps open as a trade screen: a Lighter candle chart, market list, order book, live prints, open positions, and a ticket with leverage, order value, and margin. Click a book level to fill the size. Deposit and withdraw sit on that ticket. The trading key stays on the Lighter account: clearing browser data deletes only the copy in this browser, and the same wallet unlocks it. The agent answers questions about the desk and still only prepares a swap. Your wallet is the only signer.
What this is
tridx is a website for swapping tokens and trading perps on Robinhood Chain. It is not the Robinhood brokerage, it does not take custody, and it does not place stock orders. A swap is an on-chain Uniswap transaction that your wallet signs. A perp is a Lighter order signed by the trading key you create.
Which tokens
The stock and ETF list is the live Robinhood asset registry, the same set published for Robinhood Stock Tokens. WETH and USDG are the settlement rails. Coins are the extra vetted addresses from the public Robinhood Chain token list that are not already in that registry. A matching ticker with a different contract is not a Robinhood stock token.
Any token to any token
Choose what you pay and what you receive. There is no requirement to trade against USDG. The quote checks every official Uniswap v2, v3, and v4 pool it can find for the pair, including pools with a custom fee, direct and through USDG or WETH, and uses whichever returns more. The ticket shows the venue and the fee. If no pool has liquidity, the swap stays disabled. A route stays on one venue: a v3 hop and a v4 hop are not combined in one transaction.
Chart versus pool
The chart is the underlying share session. Bid, ask, high, low, and volume come from Robinhood’s stock-token price feed when the symbol is listed. Chain coins do not have a share chart. The price on the swap ticket is the pool output after the route is chosen. Do not treat one as the other.
What your wallet signs
If you pay WETH and only hold ETH, the shortfall is wrapped first. The token is approved to Permit2 if the allowance is short. Permit2 is approved for the Universal Router if that allowance is short or about to expire. The swap is simulated, then sent to the router with a 0.50% minimum and a ten-minute deadline. You can reject any of those prompts.
Mainnet
tridx trades Robinhood Chain mainnet only, chain 4663. USDG is the settlement token and uses 6 decimals. Stock tokens use 18. There is no testnet on this site.
The agent
Open the Agent tab and ask how the desk works: pools, fees, deposits, withdrawals, the trading key, eligibility, or a share-session price. You can also paste a contract, then say buy it with ETH for any dollar amount, or sell it to ETH, USDG, or another token. Five dollars was only an example. A contract sent on its own is remembered for the next sentence. The agent quotes Uniswap and shows what you pay and the minimum you receive. Approve in wallet is the only way a transaction is created. It cannot sign, move funds, or give financial advice. Rejecting a wallet prompt cancels the swap.
Perpetuals
The Perps tab reads Lighter’s public market on Robinhood Chain, not Lighter’s other exchange. The chart is that market’s mark candles, not the stock-token share chart on Swap. Open positions, entry, unrealized PnL, and liquidation come from the Lighter account after you connect. Deposit USDG from the page. The minimum is 1 USDG, and the first deposit opens the account. Withdraw sends free USDG margin back to the same wallet after Lighter’s next batch, usually a few minutes, not in the same moment. Open positions keep the margin they need. The trading key signs the withdrawal and the orders, so you never paste a private key. The first time, the wallet signs twice: once to define the key, once to register it on Lighter. This browser keeps a copy so later trades do not ask the wallet. Clearing browsing data deletes only that copy. Unlock trading key with the same wallet brings the same key back. A key created before the name was tridx needs one more signature, because the wallet message changed. After the key is ready, buy and sell are market orders with cross leverage up to that market’s maximum. The worst price is 1% from the touch, and the rest is cancelled. A click on the book only fills the size. Swap remains the Uniswap trade your wallet signs.
Eligibility
Robinhood Stock Tokens are not offered or sold to U.S. persons. Holding one is economic exposure through a token, not ownership of the share. Confirm you are allowed to trade the canonical contracts before you sign on mainnet.
